2025 CITIZENS STACKED PERKS GCC HOLIDAY HAPPENINGS CONTEST

OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER TO WIN.

 

1. ENTRY PERIOD: The 2025 Citizens Stacked Perks GCC Holiday Happenings Contest (“Contest”) period begins November 24, 2025, at 9:00am Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends December 28, 2025, at 9:00pm ET (the “Entry Period”).

2. DATA COLLECTION: Sponsor collects information from Applicants when they submit an entry for the Contest for use in the administration of the Contest. The information collected is subject to the Privacy Policy located at https://www.citizensbank.com/account-safeguards/privacy.aspx.

3. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the U.S. and D.C. and are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is older) as of the date of entry (“Applicants”). Applicants must have visited the Citizens Holiday Village Sculpture in person, located at Garden City Center in Cranston, RI during November 24, 2025 through December 28. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Applicants must meet these eligibility criteria at the time of entry and prize drawing to be eligible to win.

4. HOW TO ENTER: During the Contest Entry Period, you must scan the QR Code located by the structure, follow the directions to complete the Contest entry, and provide an answer to the question: “How many credit cards were used to build the Citizens Holiday Village Sculpture at Garden City Center?” There is a limit of one (1) entry per person/email address. You are not required to complete portions of the entry form that may request your permission for Citizens to call, email, or text you (including via an automated dialer, or artificial or prerecorded voice message) regarding other bank products or services, where you do your banking, if you are a homeowner, and what banking products/services you are interested in. Such portions of the Official Entry Form are optional, are not required to enter, and do not improve your chances of winning. If you do provide such permission, you understand that you are waiving your rights under any applicable “Do Not Call” list(s) that you may have registered with.

5. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: One (1) applicant whose guess is closest to the actual number of cards used to build the structure at Garden City Center will be deemed the winner.  In the event of a tie, the applicant who submitted their entry first will be deemed the winner. The winner will be contacted by a Citizens marketing colleague on December 29, 2025, by email and/or phone via the information provided in the entry form. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period. Citizens Bank, N.A.’s (“Sponsor”) determination is final. Potential winners may be required to verify their eligibility by completing, signing, notarizing, and returning an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release, and, where lawful, a Publicity Release (granting Citizens the right to use his/her name, picture/portrait likeness and/or voice, or Submission for advertising/publicity purposes without further compensation) or the prize may be forfeited and an alternate potential winner may be selected.  

6. PRIZES: One (1) grand prize will be awarded: the prize includes a $1,000 (one thousand dollars) Mastercard gift card. All prizes are awarded “as is” without any warranty, guarantee, or representation of any kind, either expressed or implied.

7. TAXES: By receipt of a prize, each winner agrees that he/she is responsible for all federal, state, and local income tax liability on such prize and all other obligations and expenses that are associated with receipt and use of the prize regardless of the value.

8. PUBLICITY: By entering the Contest, Applicant grants Sponsor and its affiliated companies the right to use Applicant’s name, likeness and/or photo, or Submission for promotional purposes (including any possible public relationship opportunities) without further compensation except where prohibited by law.

9. GENERAL RULES: Applicants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Contest, or any part of it, if technical failures or any other factor beyond reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the contest, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual they find to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.  Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.  The failure of Sponsor to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

10. RELEASE: BY ACCEPTING A PRIZE, WINNERS AGREE THAT SPONSOR, GARDEN CITY CENTER, AND EACH OF THEIR RESPECTIVE SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES, AND ALL OF THE FOREGOING'S OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS (COLLECTIVELY, THE “RELEASED PARTIES”), WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR, AND WILL BE HELD HARMLESS BY WINNER FOR ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND TO PERSONS, INCLUDING DEATH, AND PROPERTY, DUE IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THE ACCEPTANCE OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTESTOR PARTICIPATION IN ANY CONTEST-RELATED ACTIVITY.

11. DISPUTES: Applicants  agree that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and solely and exclusively in a federal or state court located in the State of Rhode Island; Applicants submit to sole and exclusive personal jurisdiction to said courts in the State of Rhode Island for any such dispute and irrevocably waives any and all rights to object to such jurisdiction; (b) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out of pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest  but in no event attorneys' fees; and (c) under no circumstances will Applicants  be permitted to obtain awards for and Applicants  hereby waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. PARTCIPANT HEREBY AGREES THAT PARTCIPANT WILL NOT BRING A CLASS ACTION OR PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION AGAINST ANY OF THE RELEASED PARTIES WITH RESPECT TO A CONTEST. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Applicants in connection with this Contest shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules of provisions (whether of the State of Rhode Island, the United States, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Rhode Island.
